Premiers dissagree on national carbon price

Dec. 9, 2016 - Canada's premiers are divided over whether or not a national carbon price is the right move for Canada, particularly in light of U.S. politics, at the first ministers' meeting in Ottawa today.
Saskatchewan premier Brad Wall told reporters he will not sign the agreement, which would see Canada implement at $50-per-tonne carbon price by 2022. Other premiers say every province and territory needs to pay the same price, or its a no deal.
