Sept. 24,
2010, Vancouver – Nexterra Systems Corp. is ranked among the Deloitte 2010 “Technology
Fast 50,” a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Canada.
Nexterra’s ranking is based on an increase in revenues of 509% from 2005 to
2009. Nexterra has also been named as a member of the 2010 Deloitte Technology
Green 15, which honours fifteen companies that are leading the way in the field
of green technology.

“Canadian
technology companies have demonstrated some very impressive growth numbers over
the past year, amid the challenges of an uncertain global economic recovery,”
says John Ruffolo, national leader of the technology, media, and telecommunications
industry group for Deloitte. “Nexterra is an example of the determination,
drive and skill that will serve to position them for further growth and success
in the years to come.”

Jonathan
Rhone, Nexterra president and CEO, credits the company’s strategic approach,
dedicated team, and growing renewable energy demand with its revenue growth
over the past five years. “Global demand for renewable energy continues to grow
at a dramatic pace,” says Rhone. “Nexterra offers a powerful value proposition
of reduced customer energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions with a system
that offers low lifecycle costs, high efficiency, and low air emissions. It’s a
win-win for everyone.”
