BiogasWorld, an online platform connecting biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) stakeholders, announced two important projects for the RNG community, partially funded by Natural Resources Canada’s Clean Fuels Awareness funding opportunity. The projects aim to provide RNG project owners and developers with valuable resources to help boost the RNG industry in Canada.

“We strongly believe that the RNG industry in Canada presents a solution to reduce Canada’s carbon emissions and meet our clean energy goals. Our two projects, RNG Map and Social Acceptability resources, partially funded under the Clean Fuels Awareness funding opportunity, will definitely help the industry grow,” says Natalia Bourenane, general manager of BiogasWorld.

RNG Projects Visual Map will provide the information on existing RNG projects in Canada and abroad that will be helpful not only to professionals working on RNG projects but for communities, farmers, educational institutions, industries who want to learn more about RNG, and explore this fascinating clean energy technology.

This project will provide the RNG industry with the resources to facilitate the acceptability of RNG projects in Canada. It will especially be helpful to project developers who want to understand potential community concerns and educate the public.
