additional funding from Ludgate Environmental Fund Ltd., which will be
used to help fund the
construction of a biomass plant in Scotland.

An article in Biomass Power and Thermal states that the plant, which will be built in Wick, Scotland, will use locally sources biomass fuel to replace the oil heating network that currently resides there. In addition, Ludgate also announced that it will fund a series of UK-based anaerobic digesters, as well as a heat recovery project in Germany.

“We are pleased to make these three investments in high growth
industrial cleantech companies,” according to John Shakeshaft, chairman
of Ludgate Environmental Fund. “These deals represent diverse investment
in critically important resource efficiency supporting sustainable
economic growth.”
