March 16, 2016 – The newest biomass project in the Yukon was officially unveiled at the Yukon Biomass Forum on Tuesday.
According to a CBC report, the system was pitched by Chris Schmidt of ACS Mechanical and installed at the Raven Recycling facility in Whitehorse.
The project compliments the recent release of the Yukon’s biomass strategy, which encourages residents to use wood for energy production rather than fossil fuels.
