EU vote on biofuel mandate may be delayed

September 10, 2013, Strasbourg, France – A pending vote tomorrow by the
European Union that would see the use of biofuel in transport fuels
reduced could be delayed according to a report from the European Voice.

According to today's article from Dave Keating, the current division between MEP's could cause the delay. It is expected that, by holding the scheduled vote tomorrow, the mandate on the issue could be so narrow that it would cause a weak mandate going in to negotiations with member states.
