June 5, 2012 – Almost ten trucks filled with specialized equipment have
signaled a production increase at the TTS Inc. biofibre mat plant in
Drayton Valley's Bio-Mile.

According to an article in The Western Review, while the operation first broke ground in 2009, only now has the plant begun to receive the equipment necessary to begin taking forest industry waste to produce fibre mats for the auto industry.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the president and CEO of BioComposites Group, Dan Madlung, says they’re hoping to
start the hiring process in late fall with a potential start up in
January.
