Dryer fire breaks out at Pinnacle’s Smithers pellet plant

On Oct. 25, a spark caused a fire in the dryer at Pinnacle Renewable Energy’s Smithers, B.C., pellet plant.
According to The Interior News, firefighters responded to the fire at about 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning. The sprinkler system in the plant operated and no injuries were reported.
