Forest industry can offer biomass solutions: FPAC

Nov. 1, 2016 - The forest industry in Canada has a lot to offer the conversation around climate change, the head of the Forest Products Association of Canada is reminding Canadians.
Derek Nighbor, CEO of FPAC, told the House of Commons finance and international trade committees last week that the organization has ambitious goals to reduce its carbon footprint, and that the forest products industry can offer biomass, biomaterials, biochemicals solutions.
