Houston, B.C., pellet plant plans for extended year-end closure

The Houston Pellet plant – co-owned by Canfor, Drax and Witset First Nation – will be closed for the Christmas period beginning Dec. 7.

The pellet plant has been operating on a reduced schedule since Canfor closed its nearby sawmill in the spring, Houston Today reports.
