
Three N.Y. state agencies switch to biomass boilers

The New York Department of Environmental Conservation, the Adirondack Park Agency and the New York State Police have transitioned to biomass boilers to heat their buildings.
According to WCAX3 the agencies’ boilers use sustainably harvested wood pellets, which create North Country forestry jobs.
The boilers are part of a pilot program executed by Pyramid Energy Engineering Services.
