
Work stoppage halts B.C. biomass power plants

Dec. 8, 2016 - Construction of biomass-fuelled power plants in Merritt and Fort St James, B.C., have stalled due to a dispute between the construction company and a sub-contractor.
The Merritt Herald is reporting that a issues between Iberdrola Canada Energy Services Ltd. and a sub-contracted company have led to a work stoppage at both sites.
