World Bioenergy Association (WBA) is expanding. On September 18, 2019, WBA will unveil its new branch office in Canada with the official signing ceremony to take place at the Biomass North 2019 Forum in Ottawa.
The agreement will recognize WBA’s local partner Biomass North Development Centre as its branch office in Canada.
The agreement aims to promote the development and deployment of bioenergy in Canada, facilitate linkages between industry, research and civil society in Canada with rest of the world, encourage exchange of information and strengthen communication related to impact of bioenergy in Canada.
All bioenergy stakeholders are invited to attend the Biomass North Forum during 17–19 September 2019 in Ottawa. The event will also include curated B2B sessions, a cocktail reception, and several workshops. The signing of the Canadian branch office agreement will be a key element of the event.
