Export Development Canada plans to help natural resources sectors transition to zero emissions

Export Development Canada, a provider of financing, insurance and other support to such Canadian businesses as the oil and gas industry, plans to help natural resource sectors transition to a future of zero-emissions.

CEO Mairead Lavery said the agency believes in science and for the need to transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

Since 2012, Export Development Canada has facilitated $13.5 billion in Canadian clean technology exports with its support of companies that focus on environmental protection and climate mitigation.
