Pacific BioEnergy reduces downtime with ClassiCleaner
April 9, 2018 By Maria Church

Canadian Biomass toured Pacific BioEnergy’s pellet plant in Prince George, B.C., where in December they installed North America’s first Dieffenbacher ClassiCleaner.
The ClassiCleaner uses roller screening and air separation units to filter out contaminants. Vice-president of operations, Shawn Bells, says the new system significantly reduces their maintenance costs and downtime, and allows them to process fibre with more contaminants.
