On site at Great Northern Timber Resources’ wood pellet plant

Canadian Biomass got an inside look at Great Northern Timber Resources pellet plant in Upper Musquodoboit, N.S.
The pellet plant was originally built in 1998. After several owners and a period of shut down, Great Northern Timber purchased and reopened the mill in 2017.
Pellet mill production manager Miles Wright gave us a tour of the 100,000-tonne capacity plant:
